Eden and Lola Updates

Just before Christmas we received the great news that both Eden and Lola won the Reflections poetry contest. Their poems went to the state level so it is a great accomplishment. They received recognition in the school newsletter and they were so proud. We got to view their poetry pieces along with other winners at the WCI campus. Eden's poem is titled Love and Hate and Lola's My Sissy Pooh. Eden's is deep and Lola's is hysterical!
Eden also gets braces! Which she is quite happy with because she got to choose pink and purple for her bands. She has so many girl friends with braces, but few with colorful ones so she is very happy with that. Then we get news that she has made it to the advanced intermediate level in ballet and receives an invitation to Pointe!!! This has been her dream for so so very long! But very rarely does it happen before ones 11th birthday. She's more than thrilled! We celebrate that evening with a dinner at the SF Creamery and then it's off to the ballet shop for Pointe Shoes. She says it's official. She's a ballerina now!
Lola is very excited to announce that she is now officially a Girl Scout! A Daisy girl scout. She has been practicing the Honor verse and recites it at her Investiture Ceremony flawlessly!

To say that we are so proud of these girls is an understatement!
