Thanksgiving "turkey's"
The family and Nana taking picturesThis year for Enrique's birthday he had to go to work, but he took Eden with him. She loved helping out and sitting at the front desk sharing her erasers with the receptionist. It was a real treat for her. I told her before she left to tell everyone at work what a special day it was for her dad. Well, she forgot all about it! So, no one knew. I sent the wrong kiddo. Lola would have told everyone and had it on the news, too.
For Enrique's birthday we took him to Benihana's for dinner. He even got to enjoy a couple of drinks, too.
Thanksgiving was shortly after Enrique's birthday. It was at our home. We had Enrique's family (Usiel, Carolina and Abuelita) and my mom over for the celebration. The dinner was delicious and the kids had so much fun with the family. We have so much to be Thankful for. I don't think I've ever been happier in my life. I love my kids, my mom is such a blessing to our family. I have a caring and devoted husband. The kids are happy and healthy and get excellent grades. There is so much to be grateful and thankful for.
(and yes, as usual we did our Black Friday after Thanksgiving shopping! So so much fun! Roman went hiking with dad, Usiel, Abuelita and Carolina while us girls went shopping. I think I might leave Lola next year as she whined the whole time! She was miserable I suppose because we got up super early. she didn't get sleep and on top of that she was hungry. I suppose she doesn't get the whole shopping frenzy...she will though eventually!)
