Halloween for us is a month long event. This year we decided to host a Halloween party. The girls each invite 4-5 friends and they all came dressed in costume. We had Pumpkin shaped pizza's, crafts of all kinds and a fun scavenger hunt that was an absolute success. Enrique decorated the place so well. There were cobwebs, skeletons and body parts gummy candies. We had a great time! It was so incredibly loud and some of the boys Lola invited decided it was more fun to pop all the balloons. It was crazy! But fun.
We also went to the Jack O Lantern Jamboree with Nana (love this place!) Eden is starting to outgrow fairyland although she had a good time, too. Lola and Roman had the time of their lives there. He even got in a baby jump house for the first time! None of the kids in there were over 18 months old so it was perfect. It's always nice going back to Oakland. I love the diversity...the cultures, the city! It's all good!
Then Enrique and I took the kids to the Oakland Boo at the Zoo the next day. We all had a nice time and the kids were passed out in the car on the way back. Our favorite part was the train ride. the view from there was absolutely beautiful and it was a perfect day.
Halloween was a blast! We decided to trick or treat with our friends the Fitch's. The kids got a ton of candy and some of the houses handed out margarita's and beers to us parents. It was AWESOME (as Eden and Roman would say!) We were thoroughly exhausted! All in all it was a wonderful end to an incredibly fun month. Next up...Thanksgiving!
