Our 11th Anniversary

On December 5, Enrique and I celebrated our 11th Anniversary. This year we decided to make our favorite seafood at home instead of going out. We had collossal shrimp flambe (Enrique's specialty! It's the best I've ever tasted anywhere!) and I made a crab linguine with radicchio and lemon juice. Boy was this a good recipe. We had garlic bread and Caesar salad and a bottle of our favorite white wine. For dessert we had a decadent triple chocolate cake.

The girls stayed in their room and watched movies and even got to enjoy some of our dinner at their own kiddie table. We told them it was a special day for us and they gave us a gift of remaining quiet the whole evening. Surprisingly!

Enrique and I decided to not exchange presents this year, but he surprised me with a Tiffany box and a beautiful heart necklace inside it! I nearly fainted! It was a complete surprise, but a very welcomed one. That's just how he is. Very giving and thoughtful.
