The Girls had their Ballet Demonstration June 13 at the Lesher Arts Theater in Walnut Creek. It was Eden's third or fourth performance and Lola's 1st! Abuelita Maria and Nana were present that day. It was a really great show! The girls did such an incredible job! I was quite impressed with all they've learned. Eden is really growing into an incredible dancer and it's really wonderful to watch her grow into such a great dancer. Miss Lola was so very good, too. She is really talented for being so young and for being in dance for such a short time. But then again, Eden is always teaching her dance moves so she's got plenty of practice. Lola did quite well, but at the end of the show, she'd had enough and was crying when they came out to take their last bow. I heard her crying for mommy. It's times like these that I realize she is only 3 1/2.
At the end of the show there was such a beautiful photo montage displaying all of the ballet school dancers. It was so very touching and my mom and I cried and weeped for a bit. The song playing to the montage was "I hope you dance" which is a song I dedicated to Eden when she was a baby. It sure struck a few heartstrings.
Afterward, Abuelita treated us to Chili's for a celebratory lunch while Nana went home to rest up for the next day (or two as it turned out) of fun with the kids while Enrique and I got ready to move to a new apartment the next day. Yes, we moved!
Here's video of the girls:
