So Roman is nearly 4 weeks old! I can't believe it. Where did the time go? It feels like yesterday he was just born and I was in the hospital recovering.
The girls started school a couple of weeks ago. It was a really special time for Lola especially who is now a Kindergartener! I can't believe that one! She's doing so very well. She's already got a best friend (again!) They are inseparable. It is so very cute! She loves all the songs they sing in Kindergarten. When I pick her up from school she always has a song to sing. She loves "Down by the Bay."
Eden is now a 3rd grader, but she's still as sweet as ever. I let her walk herself to class from the Kindergarten room, but I just can't help but walk over to take a peek at her. Just to make sure she gets there okay. She always sees me and runs up to me and gives me a big hug and kiss. How long will this last? Loving seeing mom near her classroom. When will it become a bother or an embarrassment? Well, for now I will enjoy all I can get.
Roman, my little baby Roman is already 4 weeks old! So much has changed. He's been rolling over since 6 days old although he can't quite figure out how to roll back so he gets rather frustrated. He is starting to hold his own head up although he bobbles quite a bit. He's starting to smile. This doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes you can get a smile out of him. He's a fussy guy! We think he has colic (surprise surprise!) He was the quietest thing but come week 3 and it's fussy time. He loves to be held (what baby doesn't?) but he used to be okay with being in his swing or being set down somewhere. Not now. He wants to be held constantly. This is probably all our fault. For one the girls are always begging to hold him (every second...I'm not joking) and Enrique can't ever put him down and I can't help but hold him and marvel at him. He's getting rather chunky as you can see in the pics. He loves his milk that's for sure. Can't wait for his 1 month appointment next Tuesday. The last we heard he was in the 75th percentile, but who knows now. We'll see.
Another change, Enrique has gone back to work this week. He had three weeks off and now it's just me and the kids. Boy am I really trying my hardest to get into a routine. This week, no such luck for me. I'm sure I will get it. Might take a while, but it will happen. For now, I celebrate just being able to get all three kids and myself out the door and no one has been late for school.

Wow! All 3 babies are so big! Lola looks like such a big girl! Eden still has the sweetest eyes. Roman is a chunky monkey! I love it! Remember you don't have to have everything and everyone on a schedule right now. It is gonna take some time. Roman's schedule is gonna change weekly. But as long as he is fed and rested- he'll be fine. The girls know their routines. You just have to keep them on track with reminders. I love you! Give our love to the kids and Enrique.
