Honor Awards Ceremony at school

To say that I was proud is an understatement. The girls are doing such an incredible job at school. It's been a big change for them both starting a new school and a private Christian school at that. Eden is taking Math, Science, Bible, History, Technology, Spanish, Art and PE. Lola has the same subjects only one teacher teaches most subjects and they have a separate PE, Spanish and Music teacher. The Middle School doesn't use text books. They use Ipad's and tablets.
Lola receives the Principal's Honor Roll certificate for maintaining straight A's.

Eden (the tallest) receives Honor Roll certificate for maintaining A- average.

Eden's Birthday Party The Game Truck Arrives

Just Dance!

Lola on the Game Van Playing Mine Craft

The theme was Japanese. She loves Cherry Blossoms. Thus, the Cherry Blossom cake.

Her friends from elementary. Still inseparable!

The girls were fascinated to find out Eden is a ballerina. They all took turns trying on her Pointe shoes.

Her new friends from Junior High School.

The Game Van showed up with games inside the van as well as outside. Games like Just Dance and Minecraft to name a couple. The girls were just adorable! It was loud, fun and they all loved the Asian theme and food. I really loved seeing my girl so happy and smiling from ear to ear. I wasn't sure how the new friends would interact with Eden's friends from elementary but they all did very well together. Towards the end all of the girls ended up in Eden's room and all you could hear were screams and laughter. Then the girls all tried on Eden's Pointe shoes. It was priceless!

Happy 12th Birthday, Eden

Eden's 12th Birthday, January 15, 2014. Bitter sweet. It's always happy celebrating Eden's birthday's but can't help but feel a bit sad because my baby is growing up. I'm so thankful she is such a sweet, loving, caring, smart and super giving person. I am beyond proud of this girl! Love her so much! Happy Birthday to my sweet Edie Pie Pie!!

Easter

Finally found her basket after what seemed like forever searching

It was even harder for Eden to find her basket...that tricky Bunny !

Roman found his in no time

Carrots and letters the girls left for the Easter Bunny. He left a trail of carrot crumbs that led to the front door

We celebrated Easter with Nana at Tilden Park

We hid Easter eggs and found most of them...the others I wonder if the animals helped themselves to

Roman found one!

We end the day at the Carousel at Tilden

Disneyland and spring break

The hotel Gardens

Lola gets her face painted

Roman loves loves loves the tea cups and screams when it ends... "I wanna tea cup!"

Lola, Nana, Eden and Roman on the Merry go round

The kids tried so so hard to lift the sword...Roman was frustrated...why won't that thing budge!?

Build a Bear trip.

Roman gets his first Build a bear he names Spidey (really he named it! He loves Spiderman and we sometimes call him Spidey so he chose a very appropriate name for his monkey.)

The latest in kids hats!

Lola at California Adventure

Roman didn't like the sound of the "fluff" machine. Lola had to help him.
Outside waiting for the shuttle to Disneyland

This princess asked Lola "My dear are you a Princess?" Lola says no with a giggle. And the princess says "oh dear one day you will realize that you really are one, just wait and see"...it was so cute and funny!

The game room at the hotel

The kids favorite place, the vending machine room

Just outside of our room at the Sheraton Palace Hotel

Universal studios!

Lola wins a prize

Eden amazed me because she kept shooting basketball hoops effortlessly while boys and teenage boys couldn't even make the shot. I was so impressed I texted her Dad who was not on the trip with us. He was so proud! Too bad Eden doesn't want to play. She's a natural.

I'm not so sure about these glasses!

A trip to Knottsberry Farm. Roman didn't like Snoopy much

Lola's favorite ride. Her laughs are so funny when she's on this ride! Other parents commented on her cuteness...I should youtube it next time. It's hysterical.

I laugh everytime I see this picture because I  hear my moms voice "Girl is that a pink shirt on that boy!" No mom it's light red...she makes me laugh with the things she says. So I know she'll look at this and might ask again! No mom it's a red shirt :)!

Roman loved the bouncy house!

Our trip to Disneyland is always one we all look forward to! The kids can't wait each year and to be honest I think my mom and I are even more excited then the kids! We spend a week and go to Disneyland, Knottsberry Farm and this year we decided to go to Universal Studios which was really a blast! I am glad we went there. I hope we do that again next year.
I love looking back at the pics because everyone looks so happy! Brings a smile to my face...
